Forbes Magazine Tipps Kings Of Leon as Musicians To Watch In 2011
Kings of Leon are the biggest band of the moment. Hardly any music fan would argue this. It comes therefore a bit of a surprise to see the world’s biggest band being tipped as one of 11 “Musicians to watch in 2011” by Forbes magazine.

Where to go next when you’re at the top? Jared Followill, bassist with the Kings of Leon, believes his band might have reached their commercial zenith with their last album, the multi Platinum certified “Come Around Sundown.” Hoping to maintain the level of success, the musician wants to see his band grow artistically as well as to attempt playing bigger venues with elaborate live stage productions.

The Kings of Leon, who just finished their last UK stint with a series of end-of-year arena shows return this summer for their biggest tour to date. The Followill brothers play Coventry Ricoh Arena (30th May),
Sunderland Stadium of Light (17th June),
Manchester Old Trafford Cricket Ground (19th June),
London Hyde Park (22nd & 23rd June),
Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium (26th June) and a headline appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival (10th June).

Other artists mentioned in the Forbes list include Justin Bieber, Drake, Ke$ha, Bruno Mars, Zac Brown Band, Flo-Rida, Nicki Minaj, Greyson Chance, Pomplamoose and Willow Smith.

Kings of Leon are definitely one our bands to “watch” in 2011. If you haven’t secured your Kings of Leon tickets already, you can still get yours through Ticketmaster’s GET ME IN! online tickets market. Kings of Leon tickets for all their 2011 UK shows are still available.

Fans with Kings of Leon tickets for the ill-fated final London O2 Arena (21st December) show remain valid until a rescheduled date gets announced. No official date has been announced so far.

The concert was postponed after 2 of the band’s production tour busses were caught in a fire blaze while parked outside the landmark London venue. No person was injured in the incident.
