Iconic Spice Girls Clothes To Be Auctioned For Charity
29 Jun 2012
The Spice Girls recently announced their new upcoming musical Viva Forever! which is showing from 27th November 2012 at the Piccadilly Theatre, London.
The world famous female pop band which coined the term “girl power” is now set to auction some of their most famous wardrobe pieces, with all money raised going to the charity organisations Save the Children and Children in Need.
Victoria Beckham aka Posh Spice in her old days of Spice Girls mania, came up with the idea:
"I've got all my costumes still. I can't wait for Harper to grow a little so she can have some," said Beckham of her 11-month-old daughter. "But the rest I'd like to put for charity, I think it would be a fantastic thing to do."
Blast from the past outfits include Victoria’s black leather dress and Mel B’s leopard-print bodysuits, Emma B’s “Baby Spice” baby-doll dresses and Mel C “Sporty Spice” track suits and Geri’s tiny dresses.
The Spice Girls reunited for the first time since their reunion tour in 2007-2008.
Viva Forever! has been produced by funny woman Jennifer Saunders and Mamma Mia’s producer, Judy Craymer and is a feel-good story about humour, friendship and celebrity.
