NFL International Series 2015 lineup
The NFL International Series resumes at London’s Wembley Stadium in October. Find out more about the teams who will be bringing the American spirit to the UK.

New York Jets

One of New York’s American football teams, the New York Jets were an original member of the American Football League. Known back in the day as the Titans of New York, the Jets are part of the AFC and NFL. They won the Super Bowl III in 1968.

2014 saw quarterback Michael Vick make history by becoming the first to reach 6,000 career rushing yards.

Miami Dolphins

The only NFL team to have a perfect season; in 1974 the Dolphins won all 14 regular-season games, their NFL playoff games and completed their perfect run by defeating the Minnesota Vikings at Super Bowl VII.

The Dolphins went on to win Super Bowl VIII the following year and have since made it to two championships.

Buffalo Bills

Based in New York, the Buffalo Bills have made it to the Super Bowl four consecutive times – the only NFL team to do so. They will be making their London debut during their game against Jacksonville Jaguars in October.

Jacksonville Jaguars

For the third time the Jaguars will take part in the NFL international Series in London. This could be the Jaguars' year having lost their first game in 2013 to the 49ers and second to the Dallas Cowboys in 2014.

The Jaguars are based in Florida and call EverBank Field their home stadium. The team have made it to the playoffs six times after becoming an active NFL team in 1995.

Detroit Lions

Their history lies in Portsmouth, originally the Portsmouth Spartans, but in 1934 the team moved to Detroit becoming the Detroit Lions. The team won four NFL Championships but have yet to play in the Super Bowl. 2015 will mark the Lions first time playing in London.

Kansas City Chiefs

Another team to make their NFL Wembley debut, the Chiefs took home the Super Bowl title in 1970 defeating the Minnesota Vikings. The Chiefs also won three AFL Championships before the AFL-NFL merger.

The NFL International Series games will take place during October and November. Tickets for the games can be purchased here.
