Eminem to headline Wembley Stadium this summer
Eminem will head to the UK in July to play a massive one-off show at Wembley Stadium with tickets on sale on Friday.

Eminem will become the first rapper to perform a headline show at Wembley Stadium on 11 July 2014. It will be Eminem’s first concert in London since 2001.

The headline Wembley Stadium concert was announced yesterday. Eminem stated the reasons behind the show were due to being unable to play an outdoor London venue this summer. The announcement was accompanied by a picture on his official Facebook page saying, “Never mind Hyde Park it’s Eminem at Wembley Stadium 11 July 2014”.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, released The Marshall Mathers LP 2 last year. The album went straight to No.1 in the UK and became his seven consecutive No.1 album in both the UK and US.

In the last few years, Eminem’s only UK performances have been headline shows at festivals, including Reading and Leeds Festival and V Festival.

Eminem tickets go on sale on Friday 9 May 2014.
