JLS Bid Goodbye And Announce Farewell Tour

JLS, one of the most successful former boy band’s to come out of the X Factor, have decided to call it a day after five years.
JB, Aston, Marvin and Oritsé have had massive success since leaving the show, with five singles in the top five, and released albums ‘JLS’ (2009), ‘Outta This World’ (2010), ‘Jukebox’ (2011) and ‘Evolution’ (2012) which topped the UK Album Charts.
A statement on the JLS website said:
“To each and every JLSter, our beloved fans around the world. We wanted to make sure that you heard it from the four of us, that we have decided to bring our time as a band to an end. It has been the most incredible journey over the last 6 years and we have achieved more things than we could have ever dreamed possible. Thanks to all of you guys, your support, your dedication and your love, you have changed our lives forever and we wouldn’t be where we are today without you.”
The boys revealed that there would be one last album ‘Goodbye: The Greatest Hits’ as well as a new single and a Greatest Hits Tour.
Recently, the group members had gone on to develop outside interests from the band, with Marvin Humes expecting his first child, JB Gill in farming and Aston Merrygold has appeared on Sky’s Got To Dance Series and launched his own brand of condoms.
