From 1D To 3D In One Direction
13 May 2013
One Direction are set to continue their fairy tale success story this year with a sold-out US tour, a brand new studio album, a mystery announcement next week and their very own 3D movie.
The band’s management struck a lucrative deal with soft drink giant Pepsi, resulting in One Direction’s very own 3D blockbuster, ‘This Is Us’ and due for worldwide release later this summer.
Those who expected a short shelf life for One Direction have already been proved wrong but now it seems the “Handsome Five” have already enough big projects in the pipeline to guarantee them media headlines and more screaming fans well into 2014 and possibly beyond!
The band’s forthcoming US tour is taking the band across North America between June and August. The tour is already sold-out with additional dates being added almost regularly to supply the never-ending One Direction tickets demands of their US fans.
One Direction’s official website quietly began a countdown last Friday for a “a big announcement” on Thursday, May 16th. Fans have already begun speculating what this mystery announcement could be about. All we know at this stage: If One Direction hint at something big, we’re most likely talking gigantic!
Zayn, Liam, Niall, Louis and Harry, aged just 19 and 20 years old, are believed to have a combined wealth estimated at £25 million. The Pepsi 3D movie ‘This Is Us’ and the release of their 3rd studio album later this year, will add an additional 10 million to each boys' bank account.
With such high-class protégés, the One Direction management is not going to take chances. To protect Harry, Zayn, Liam, Louis and Niall from overexcited fans, the boys will be guarded during their 3-month North America tour by US president Barack Obama’s former security team.
Who could have anticipated how far these rosy-cheeked X Factor contestants would conquer the music world - and they didn’t even win the TV talent show but ended on the 3rd place.
