One Direction Ticket Sales Break Scottish Record
One Direction mania has reached far and wide, with the expected rush on Saturday (the 25th) causing meltdowns on the web and thousands of fans were left disappointed when 50,000 One Direction tickets were snapped up in just 90 minutes.

GETMEIN One Direction Tickets Start From *£77.00

One Direction tickets Edinburgh were so popular that thousands of 1D fans were left empty handed, and resorted to secondary ticket markets eager to cash in on the boyband’s soaring popularity. Some companies were charging £1000 a ticket for a chance to see Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

However; on GET ME IN! One Direction tickets for the green zone standing start from only *£77.00 for the show at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh on Tuesday 3rd June 2014.

Geoff Ellis of DF concerts said of the success of the One Direction concerts:

“Murrayfield sold out in 90 minutes, a new record for a concert and shows how hot a One Direction ticket is.”

He also hinted that further dates may be added to the One Direction World Stadium tour in the future as some shows had been already added, Dublin Croke Park (24th and 25th May 2014), Manchester, Etihad Stadium (31st May and 1st June 2014) and Wembley Stadium (7th and 8th June 2014).

“More tickets are likely to be released once licensing plans are finalised and we know how big the stage will be.”

As well as record breaking tickets sales, One Direction finally confirmed that August 29th 2013 would be the day that UK fans could see their 3D 1D film ‘This Is Us’ which documents the boy’s dramatic change from X-Factor finalists to world class super stars selling out arenas across the globe.

Following in the boy’s X-Factor footsteps and performing on the show, is the unlikeliest of bands, Liam Gallagher’s Beady Eye who cited One Direction as their “biggest competition”. An unlikely comparison, but with not many British bands able to make it in America and Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are in the small minority that even The Beatles failed to reach; perhaps Beady Eye will pick up some tips along the way.

One Direction have got eight shows planned for UK and Ireland, however; further dates are expected to be added in the future.
