One Direction Receive Nordoff Robins Best Live Act Award

One Direction have received the Nordoff Robins 2013 O2 Silver Clef Award for Best Live Act.
After a fantastic whirlwind three years for the fabulous five, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have become the hottest boyband on the planet and picked up the Nordoff Robins 2013 O2 Silver Clef Award for Best Live Act.
Out of 26,000 votes; One Direction came out on top and received a quarter of all the votes and crowned the winners in 2013. Previous Best Live Acts include Paul McCartney (2011) and McFly from last year.
Harry Styles said on behalf of the band receiving the accolade:
“Thanks to everyone who voted for us to win the Nordoff Robbins Best Live Act 2013. We are over the moon. Congratulations to Nordoff Robbins on another amazing Silver Clef Awards. What an incredible charity, helping people with music therapy.”

The Nordoff Robins charity aims to help vulnerable children and young adults through music therapy. The charity aims to raise £500,000 through the O2 Silver Clef Awards 2013, and help pay for 20,000 music therapy sessions.
