Kings of Leon nominated for Grammy
The American band, Kings of Leon, have seen their sixth album, Mechanical Bull, nominated for a Grammy Award.

Kings of Leon, who announced a massive Milton Keynes show last week, have been nominated for the Best Rock Album award at this year’s Grammys. The album, which reached the No.1 spot in the UK, is the band’s first album since 2010.

Kings of Leon are up against 13 by Black Sabbath, David Bowie’s The Next Day, Celebration Day by Led Zeppelin and …Like Clockwork by Queens Of The Stone Age.

Kings of Leon have previously won three Grammy awards; in 2008 thy received the Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals Grammy award for Sex On Fire and again in 2009 for Use Somebody where they also Record Of The Year for the same song.

The Grammy Awards will take place on 26 January 2014 and see performances from the biggest names in music.

Kings of Leon will perform in the UK on 22 June 2014 at Milton Keynes Bowl. The band is embarking on a US tour prior to the performance at Milton Keynes.
