10 Dec 2013
Columbia Records’ Rob Stringer has revealed that Beyoncé will be releasing an album in 2014 and it will be ‘monumental.’
The Chairman of Columbia Records, Rob Stringer, released new details about Beyoncé’s highly anticipated fifth album during an interview with Hits Daily Double.
Stringer said in an interview with Hits Daily Double,“At the beginning of next year we’ve got Broken Bells and Bruce Springsteen. Then we’ve got Lea Michele from Glee coming, and we’ve got Foster the People up next.
“Then we’ve got Pharrell and Solange, and obviously, at some point Beyonce will put a record out, and when she does it will be monumental. So we’re in really, really good shape.”
It’s been two years since Beyoncé released her last album 4, which spent two weeks in the UK's No.1 spot and 44 weeks in the Official Album Charts.
During the same year, she also headlined Glastonbury festival thus becoming the first female to do so.
