Pearl Jam auction Fender in aid of Sandy Hook Promise
19 Dec 2013
Pearl Jam, along with Kings of Leon, donated items to help the Sandy Hook Promise.
Sandy Hook Promise, the organisation that helps those affected by the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, is holding an ongoing online auction with big names donating items.
The Seattle rockers, Pearl Jam, donated a Fender guitar that was signed by the band at the concert in San Diego on 21 November. The set list from the same gig was also auctioned off along with the guitar.
Kings of Leon donated a hang out session at their concert at Mohegan Sun Arena Uncasville CT, plus four tickets to the gig.
The Kings of Leon and Pearl Jam items were available to bid on until Tuesday 17 December. Other stars have contributed to the ongoing auction including Nick Offerman, where you can have lunch with him while visiting the set of Parks and Recreation, and a chance to meet Zachery Quinto. The items are available to bid on online through Charity Buzz.
Pearl Jam released their tenth album, Lightning Bolt, earlier this year and will be playing two shows in the UK next year.
