Justin Timberlake wins big at the Peoples Choice Awards
09 Jan 2014
Justin Timberlake has proved to be the public’s favourite winning three awards at this year’s annual People’s Choice Awards.
The 40th annual People’s Choice Awards took place last night where the heartthrob, Justin Timberlake, was voted as the Favourite Male Artist and Favourite R&B Artist while his album, The 20/20 Experience, won the Favourite Album award.
His album, The 20/20 Experience, trumped the likes of Miley Cyrus’s Bangerz, To Be Loved by Michael Buble and Robin Thicke’s Blurred lines. The 20/20 Experience was highest selling album of 2013 in the UK.
Justin also beat the Blurred Lines star – who’s single became the best-selling single of 2013 - to the title of Favourite R&B Artist. Canadian favourite Michael Buble was nominated for the Favourite Male Artist award but again lost out to Justin Timberlake.
Other notable music winners of the night included One Direction who were voted as the people’s Favourite Band and Taylor Swift won the Favourite Country Artist award.
Justin Timberlake brings his 20/20 Experience world tour to the UK in March with dates in Sheffield, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham. Tickets for his tour are on sale now.
