Beyonce and Jay Z to perform at Grammy Awards

Beyoncé and Jay Z have been confirmed to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards on Sunday according to reports.
Digital Spy reported that Beyoncé and Jay Z will perform at the 56th annual Grammy Awards during the first hour of the show. It was allegedly announced through an advert for the ceremony, which was aired on television in the United States.
The performance follows on from Beyoncé’s surprise album release at the end of last year. Husband Jay Z worked with the star on the album.
The Grammy Awards show will also feature performances from nominees including Taylor Swift, John Legend, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis and Kacey Musgraves.
16-time winner Paul McCartney and fellow Beatle Ringo Starr are also set to perform on the show, while the Beatles will receive the 2014 Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award.
Following Beyoncé’s performance on the Grammy’s she will then make her way to the UK in February and March to start the UK and Ireland leg of her Mrs. Carter World Tour. Beyoncé will perform in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Dublin with tickets on sale now.
