Damon Albarn launches solo album with intimate London gigs
13 Feb 2014
Everyday Robots is Damon Albarn’s debut solo album and the Blur frontman has revealed two intimate London shows for its launch.
The shows will take place at the Rivioli Ballroom in Crofton Park, South London and People’s Palace in Mile End on 30 April and on 1 May with the album due to be released on 28 April.
It is remarkable to think someone as busy as Damon Albarn hasn’t already released a solo album. In his career, Albarn has released seven studio albums with Blur, four with Gorillaz, several collaborations and soundtrack albums and he even composed and released an opera score for Dr. Dee.
Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday 14 February from 9am.
