Suede to play warmup anniversary gig
17 Feb 2014
Suede are set to play a warm-up show for their Dog Man Star 20th anniversary concert taking place at the Royal Albert Hall in March.
The warm-up show will see the Britpop legends perform at the O2 Academy in Oxford on 28 March ahead of their Royal Albert Hall performance 30 March.
The concert at the Royal Albert Hall is in celebration of their second album Dog Man Star, which was released 20 years ago and contains the hits We Are The Pigs, The Wild Ones and New Generation.
Although the band disbanded in 2002, Suede started to play several one-off gigs in the UK and abroad in 2010. They then returned last year with Bloodsports; their first album in 11 years.
Tickets for the warm-up show at the O2 Academy go on sale on Friday.
