What: Chelsea Flower Show
Where: Chelsea Hospital, London
When: 20 – 24 May 2014
Why: It started in 1913 and has earned the name of Britain’s most prestigious flower show (it used to be the largest but that title now goes to Hampton Court). The show is held in the grounds of Chelsea Hospital and 550 exhibitors will be at the show this year. There are food courts, a champagne bar and restaurants, along with the beautiful flower and garden displays, to enjoy over the course of the day.

Why: One of the most exciting events of the tennis calendar, Wimbledon, returns on 23 June – 6 July. What: ATP World Tour Finals

When: 9 Nov – 16 Nov 2014
Why: It’s the highlight of the men’s professional tennis season and unmissable for any tennis fan. The best of the men’s singles players and doubles teams will compete for the last title of the men’s tennis season. Last year saw Novak Djokovic beat Rafael Nadal in an exciting final match. Six unmissable tours taking place this year

What: Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice. The Final Tour 2014
Where: Manchester, London, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds
When: 28 Mar – 27 Apr 2014
Why: This year is the last time fans can see Torvill and Dean’s Dancing on Ice tour, which follows on from the last ever series of the hit TV show. Celebrities from the show will take part including winner Ray Quinn, Hayley Tamaddon and Joe Pasquale. The tour is travelling around the UK and is even in Manchester on Mother’s Day.

What: Once In A Lifetime – The Final tour

Comedy tours that will have you laughing until next Mother’s Day
