One Direction star Niall Horan to manage celebrity football team in Leicester game
One Direction’s Niall Horan will manage a team of celebrities at a charity football event in Leicester.

The football match will see Niall Horan and his team of celebrities take on Robbie Savage and his team. It will take place on 26 May 2014, ahead of the One Direction tour, and will be held at the King Power Stadium in Leicester home to Leicester City football club.

Niall will be joined by his One Direction band mates Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson along with other celebrities including Olli Murs. The full line-up is to be announced by the end of this month.

Niall Horan announced the news this morning on via his Twitter account saying, “Doin a charity football game at Leicester city's stadium on the 26th of May, Louis and Liam are on my team, I'll be the manager!”

The event is in support of the charities Irish Autism Action (IAA) and UK Heart and Minds Challenge.

Following the football match, the One Direction boys will be back in the stadiums with their Where We Are stadium tour. The One Direction tour will see them perform in stadiums across the UK and Europe including Wembley Stadium and Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. One Direction tickets are now on sale.

Tickets are now available for The Niall Horan Charity Football Challenge.
