One Direction fans have started a Twitter campaign to turn Croke Park green in honour of Niall performing at the stadium.

The world’s biggest boy band perform at Dublin’s Croke Park today as part of their Where Are We stadium tour and fans want to honour the event by turning up in green clothing in celebration of Niall Horan and his Irish roots.

One Direction fans have been tweeting the hashtag “#YOUDIDITNIALL” and asking people to turn up in green clothing.

Tweeting on Tuesday, Niall said, “Lyin in bed! Thinkin! This weekend is gona be hands down the best weekend of my life! #crokepark”

One Direction perform at Dublin’s Croke Park on 23, 24 and 25 May 2014. Their tour continues into June with shows at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light, Manchester’s Etihad Stadium, Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium and London’s Wembley Stadium.

One Direction tickets are still available for their UK and European tour dates.
