The Libertines announce Hyde Park warm up show
The Libertines will perform in Glasgow ahead of their upcoming BST Hyde Park reunion concert.

The likely lads have announced a warm up show that will take place on 29 June 2014 at Glasgow’s Barrowlands. The boys will then head to the capital on Friday 5 July 2014 to take over the Main Stage at British Summertime Hyde Park festival.

The Libertines, Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hassall and Gary Powell, revealed their plans to reunite in April, after much speculation, and have since announced a show in Spain as part of Benicassim festival.

The Libertines first formed in 1997 but disbanded 10 years ago. It was the same year that they released their second and last album, The Libertines, which contained the tracks Can’t Stand Me Now and What Became Of The Likely Lads.

The Libertines tickets for their BST Hyde Park concert are now on sale with tickets for their Glasgow date on sale on Friday 30 May.
