Slash says new album was effortless to make
Slash has discussed his upcoming album with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators saying that it was effortless to make.

The world-renowned guitarist is due to release World On Fire, his third solo album, in September and in an interview with Music Radar he has discussed the process of creating the album and what it’s like to work with Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy.

Slash revealed that he wrote the majority of the album during the Apocalyptic Love tour and then went on to record the album in Los Angeles.

He also discussed the process of creating World On Fire saying that “there’s a certain energy that carries the creative process and it’s almost like you’re not in control of it and you just ride that wave. That’s how this record was.”

World On Fire will be released on October 13 following a special fanpack edition on September 15.

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators will tour the UK in November and December with dates in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London and Glasgow.

Slash tickets are now on sale.
