Slash performs at House of Commons
Slash played an unusual gig on Monday night at the UK’s Parliament Terrace at the House of Commons in London.

The ex-Guns N’s Roses guitarist played an acoustic set to an audience of 200 people on Monday 2 June at the House of Commons. The unexpected gig was part of the Rock the House series. After the performance Slash received a private tour of the houses of parliament.

Slash performed the five song set with Myles Kennedy, the Alter Bridge frontman, who is he is set to tour the UK with later this year along with the Conspirators. Slash is currently working with Myles Kennedy and The conspirators on the album World On Fire; the follow-up to 2012’s Apocalyptic Love.

The set included Bent To Fly, one of the new tracks from Slash’s upcoming album with Myles Kennedy, Standing In The Sun from Apocalyptic Love as well as songs from Slash’s back catalogue including the Guns N’s Roses hit Sweet Child O’ Mine.

Slash is back in the UK to play arena tour dates with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators in November and December 2014. Slash tickets are now on sale.
