Pompeii by Bastille named most streamed song

Bastille’s Pompeii track has been named the most streamed song of all time.
According to the Official Charts Company, Bastille leads the most streamed song of all time chart with 23.3m streams for their track Pompeii.
Get Lucky, the track by Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams, takes second place with 24.5million streams while Passenger’s Let Her Go is in third position.
Bastille, who is fronted by Dan Smith, released the track in January 2013 and it reached No.2 on Official UK Albums Chart. The track was lifted from the band’s debut album, Bad Blood.
Bastille will play several festivals this summer, including playing a headline show at Somerset House on 15 July 2014 as part of the Summer Series at Somerset House event.
They will also play V Festival, Belfast’s Tennent’s Vital with The Killers and T in The Park Festival. Bastille tickets are now on sale for all summer shows.
