Drake pulls out of Wireless Festival
Wireless Festival have confirmed that Drake will be unable to perform at Wireless Festival 2014 due to illness.

Wireless Festival will still take place this weekend in Birmingham and London with headliners Kanye West and Bruno Mars. Replacing Drake at Wireless London will be Friday’s headliner Kanye West. He will now perform a second headline show on Saturday 5 July following performances from Rudimental, Whiz Kalifa, Labrinth, Azealia Banks and more.

In Birmingham, the multi-award winning Rudimental will perform an extended set on the festival’s opening night (Friday 4 July) with very special guests who are to be revealed shortly.

Drake said to Wireless Festival, "To my beloved fans, it truly breaks my heart that I won't be able to perform as planned at Wireless and Roskilde this weekend.

“I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me. I will be focused on resting for a quick recovery. I have the best fans in the world and I can't wait to come back to make more incredible memories together."

Wireless Festival spans over three days from 4 – 6 July 2014 in Birmingham’s Perry Park and London’s Finsbury Park. It includes a standout line-up of acts including Pharrell Williams, Outkast, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, Knife Party, Basement Jaxx, Wiz Khalifa and more.
