Spandau Ballet to reunite for first time in four years
19 Aug 2014
Spandau Ballet will reunite for just one night at London’s Royal Albert Hall following the premiere of their new film.
For the first time in four years the iconic British band will reunite at London’s Royal Albert Hall on 30 September where they will perform following the European premiere of their film, Soul Boys of the Western World.
The evening will also include a live question and answer session with Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp, Steve Norman, John Keeble and director George Hencken that will be hosted by Lauren Laverne.
Soul Boys of the Western World delves into the 1980’s culture, exploring the era and how one band created a soundtrack for a generation. The film includes personal videos, candid interviews and newsreel footage. The event will also be broadcast throughout cinemas in the UK.
Spandau Ballet’s latest record, The Story – The Very Best Of Spandau Ballet, is due for release on 13 October 2014. A soundtrack of the film will also be available.
Tickets are now on sale for Spandau Ballet’s Royal Albert Hall concert and film premiere.
