Elbow announce theatre shows
Elbow have announced six theatre shows in Manchester and London for 2015 with tickets on general sale on Friday.

Elbow will perform at the Manchester Apollo on 5, 6 and 7 February 2015 and London’s Hammersmith Apollo on 10, 11 and 12 February 2015.

Guy Garvey, Elbow’s lead singer, said of the shows, "We enjoyed our theatre tour of the States and Canada this summer so much that we decided to do some at home. There is something magic about the history of old theatres and doing residencies in these lovely buildings means we can be playful with the staging.

"Also the band often discuss how great it would be to play older and rarer songs of ours alongside the ones we are best known for. We are also hoping for a range of excellent guests and are really excited about these shows."

Elbow released their sixth studio album, The Take Off And The Landing Of Everything, in March 2014. It became their first No.1 album was recorded in Manchester at Blueprint Studios, which is the band’s own, and Bath’s Real World studios.

Elbow tickets for their UK tour go on general sale on Friday 5 September. Tickets are available now via various presales.
