Royal Blood set for second week at No1

Royal Blood look to hold on to the top spot in the UK Albums Chart after leading the midweeks.
The Official Charts Company revealed that Royal Blood are leading the midweek charts with their self-titled debut, setting them up for a second week at the top of the albums chart.
The Brighton duo face competition from Ed Sheeran’s X, which spent eight weeks at No.1, and Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour. The albums are currently No.2 and No.3 in the UK charts.
Royal Blood stormed into the charts selling almost 66,000 copies in its first week. The album also became the fastest selling rock debut in three years.
The release came after the duo spent much of the summer months playing festivals across the UK including Glastonbury and Reading and Leeds Festival.
Royal Blood will take their album on the road in October. The pair will tour around the UK and Ireland playing 13-dates including performing two shows at London’s Electric Ballroom on 6 and 7 November. Royal Blood tickets are now on sale for their autumn tour.
