Maroon 5 cover Happy by Pharrell Williams
Maroon 5 recently covered Pharrell William’s hit single Happy during a visit to BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.

The American band paid a visit to BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge during their recent visit to the UK where they played an acoustic, slowed down version of Happy. The track was lifted from Pharrell’s second album GIRL.

The video of Maroon 5 performing Happy featured Adam Levine clad in an Hawaiian shirt and, showing his love of his home city, wearing a Los Angeles baseball cap.

During their trip to the UK, Maroon 5 also performed at iTunes Festival where the debuted material from their latest album V that was released earlier this month.

V is their fifth studio album and became a No.1 in the US and charted at No.2 in the Official UK Albums Chart. The album features the lead track Maps.

In support of the collection Maroon 5 will return to Britain next year to play just a handful of shows at London’s Wembley Arena, the LG Arena Birmingham and Manchester’s Phones 4u Arena during May and June 2015. Maroon 5 tickets are now on sale for all dates.
