Foo Fighters documentary to air on BBC
Foo Fighters have revealed that the documentary detailing the making of their eighth album will be aired on BBC Four.

Foo Fighters are set to release Sonic Highways in November and with it a series will be premiered on HBO. Yesterday, Foo Fighters revealed that in the UK BBC Four will play the programme.

The documentary, which has the same title as their upcoming album, explores America’s musical history along with how Foo Fighters’ created their latest release.

Their album was recorded in eight different states in the US with each state receiving its own episode – Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, Austin, Chicago, Seattle, New Orleans and Washington D.C.

Foo Fighters recently visited the UK to headline the Invictus Games Closing Ceremony. During their time in the country, they played three surprise gigs in intimate venues including Islington’s Assembly Hall and Brighton Concorde.

Sonic Highways is set for release on 10 November while the series will be aired on BBC Four from 26 October.
