Simply Red announce 30th anniversary UK and Ireland tour

Simply Red have announced their Big Love tour in celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary.
The Mick Hucknall led band are to embark on a world tour which will include 14 shows in the UK and Ireland during November and December 2015. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 7 November.
Starting with a duo of shows at the Brighton Centre on 28 and 29 November, Simply Red’s tour heads into December where they will perform shows in Dublin, Belfast, Newcastle, Glasgow and Aberdeen.
The Big Love tour will also visit Leeds, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham before the group end their celebrations with two shows at London’s The O2 arena on 17 and 18 December 2015.
Simply Red announced the news with a handwritten note from frontman Mick Hucknall, which was posted on Twitter. The note said, “Hello Everyone, Am Happy to celebrate with you our 30 years in music. We hope you’re gonna enjoy the shows as much as we will. See you there! Mick”
The band from Manchester have sold over 50 million albums with their hits including You Make Me Feel Brand New, Holding Back The Year, Your Mirror and their debut single, a cover of The Valentine Brother’s Money's Too Tight To Mention.
