Take That have announced their first tour as a three piece in support of their new album III.
Take That have announced their first tour as a three piece in support of their new album III. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will embark on a tour of the UK and Ireland during April and June.
The tour will get underway in Glasgow at The SSE Hydro on 28 April and sees the group visit Belfast, Dublin, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield and London. Tickets go on general on Thursday 13 November.
Take That’s 2015 tour will be the first time the group have toured as a three-piece since Jason Orange left the band in October. It also marks the band’s 25th anniversary and is the first time that they have hit the road since their record-breaking stadium tour in 2011.
The tour is in support of their seventh album III. The record is the first without Jason Orange, following his departure from the band, and Robbie Williams who went on to pursue his solo career after the release of Progress in 2010.
Take That’s endless hits include Rule The World, Patience, Shine, Never Forget and Back For Good. In 2012 the band were honoured the Ivor Novello Award for Outstanding Contribution to British Music.
Ahead of their tour, Take That will perform at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in December. The event is held at London’s The O2 arena over two days with Take That performing on Saturday 6 December along with OneRepublic and The Script.
