Ed Sheeran announces London Wembley Stadium show
17 Nov 2014
Ed Sheeran’s meteoric rise continues. Following his latest album, X, hitting top chart positions in the UK and several other key markets around the globe and the his recent sold-out Multiply UK tour dates, Ed Sheeran announces his largest headline show to date at the London Wembley Stadium on 10 July 2015.
Ed Sheeran : 2014 was his year
The Wembley Stadium show announcement tops another remarkable year for the red-haired bard who also took part in last week’s Band Aid 30, the project to help fight the Ebola disease where he rubbed shoulders with other pop and rock luminaries, such as One Direction, Rita Ora, Bono from U2, Sam Smith and Chris Martin, amongst many more.
Ed Sheeran : From academies to stadiums
Within the span of 3 years he moved from playing small academy-sized venues to arenas and now stadiums. There are not many artists that could fill a stadium, let alone London’s landmark Wembley Stadium - let alone after just two album releases! Equipped with just his guitar and his trusted looper pedal, Ed’s years of experience performing in front of audience of any size is now paying off.
