Status Quo confirm Aquostic Live 2015 shows
Status Quo have announced a five-date tour of the UK in support of their new album Aquostic (Stripped Bare).

The British rockers will take their brand new tour Aquostic Live 2015 around the UK during April 2015. Starting at Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall on 20 April, the tour will visit Sheffield, Wolverhampton, Portsmouth and London.

The tour is a new venture for the rock veterans as the shows will be completely acoustic. Status Quo will also be joined by additional musicians, a string section and female backing vocalists. Tickets are set to go on sale on Friday 5 December with presales starting from Wednesday 3 December.

Status Quo’s 2015 tour follows on from the success of their acoustic album, Aquostic (Stripped Bare). The album was a huge success and became the group’s highest charting-record in 18 years.

The collection gives Status Quo’s - Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andrew Bown, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and Leon Cave – classic tracks a new life in their reworked, acoustic form. The tour will see the group before both old and new songs from their back catalogue in this form.

Status Quo will be supported by the Birmingham based band Terry & Gerry, who have reformed in honour of John Peel.
