06 Dec 2014
One Direction have confirmed they will perform additional concerts in Belfast, London and Dublin due to high demand to see the boys.
1D have extended the UK and Irish leg of their On The Road Again world tour. Britain’s biggest boy band’s extra dates will take place on 28 and 29 September at London’s The O2, 22 October at Belfast’s Odyssey Arena and Dublin’s 3Arena on 17 October.
The additional shows take 1D’s London residency up to five nights. The boys’ stint at The O2 arena will run from 25 to 29 September. Tickets are now on sale for all dates and can be found here.
One Direction’s tour will also include a massive concert at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium and shows will take place in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, Newcastle and Sheffield.
The tour is in support of Four, which became 1D’s third UK No.1 and fourth consecutive No.1 in the US. The album includes the singles Steal My Girl and Night Changes.
One Direction – Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Nial Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson – first formed in 2010 after auditioning as solo artists on The X Factor. The group were formed during the boot camp stages and have since gone on to achieve global superstar status.
Some of 1D’s biggest hits include What Makes You Beautiful, Midnight Memories and Story of My Life. Meanwhile, all of four of the band’s albums have reached the top of the charts in the US.
