Take That extend UK and Ireland tour
08 Dec 2014
Take That have announced four additional dates in Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Sheffield as part of their Take That Live 2015 tour.
Take That’s first tour as a three-piece has been extended to include extra shows in Glasgow, London, Birmingham and Sheffield.
Their additional Glasgow concert at The SSE Hydro will take place on 2 May, taking their run of shows at the venue to five, while their new Birmingham date will be on 23 June.
In Sheffield, the trio will perform for three nights with the newly announced date scheduled for 24 June. Meanwhile, their London residency will now be expanded to include 10 dates at The O2 with their new concert taking place on 19 June.
The group’s tour will also visit Manchester, Dublin and Newcastle during May, June and July. Tickets for Take That’s new dates will go on general sale on Thursday 11 December with tickets for all other dates on sale here.
The Take That Live 2015 tour is the first tour with just Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald after Jason Orange departed in October, and Robbie Williams returned to his solo career in 2010.
As a three-piece, Take That have maintained their success as a band. The group released their first album as a trio, III, which debuted at No.1 in the UK charts. The record is Take That’s sixth chart-topper.
