Ben Haenow lands 2014 Christmas No1
X Factor’s Ben Haenow has landed this year’s Christmas No.1 with his winners single Something I Need.

This year’s X Factor winner Ben Haenow has raced to the top of the charts beating the likes of Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk featuring Bruno Mars, Band Aid 30 and the Pogues’ Fairy Tale of New York to become the 2014 Christmas No.1.

Mark Ronson, who scored his first No.1 single last week with Uptown Funk, took second place while rounding off the Top 5 are Ed Sheeran’s Thninking Out Loud, Olly Murs and Demi Lovato’s Up and Got No Fans by Wealdstone Raider.

Official Charts Company revealed that Haenow’s single sold 214,000 copies making it the fastest-selling single of 2014. Ben Haenow joins a string of other X Factor big winners who have all charted at No.1. Seven out of the eleven X Factor winners have reached pole position.

Next, Ben Haenow will join his fellow contestants on the road in January when this year’s singers will tour the UK and Ireland. Tickets for The X Factor Live tour are now on sale here.
