Meghan Trainor announces first headline UK tour
20 Jan 2015
It will be All About That Bass in April when Meghan Trainor performs four concerts in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London on her first headline UK tour.
The 21-year-old singer, whose track All About That Bass became the sound of 2014, will start her headline tour at Manchester’s Ritz on 9 April.
She will continue her That Bass tour with gigs at Glasgow’s O2 ABC and Birmingham’s Institute before her debut tour comes to an end at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 13 April.
Meghan Trainor’s That Bass tour is in support of her first album, Title, which is set for release in the UK on 26 January. The album includes her Grammy-nominated No1 single, All About That Bass, along with the follow-up Lips Are Movin’.
All About That Bass not only charted at No.1 in the UK – with just streaming figures - but stayed at the stop of the US charts for eight non-consecutive weeks. The track became No.1 in 58 countries.
Tickets for the That Bass tour go on general sale on Friday 23 January with presales starting on Wednesday 21.
