Madonna discusses BRITs fall on Jonathan Ross special

Madonna has addressed the now famous BRITs fall on ITV’s The Johnathan Ross Show which will air this weekend.
The Rebel Hart starlet took a tumble during her performance at the 2015 BRIT Awards after a cape she was wearing was tied too tightly.
While performing Living For Love at the BRITs, it was planned for Madonna’s cape to slide off her while stood at the top of a number of stairs. However, after a dancer pulled on the cape Madonna was unable to untie it which left her no choice but to fall backwards.
Speaking about the fall, the Mirror reported that she told Jonathon Ross, “I was thrown a wrench at the beginning of the performance. I was told to tie my cape and start much further back and I had to walk further and everyone was worried my cape was slide off so they tied it really tight around my neck.
"So here I am marching in like the queen, I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled the silky string and it wouldn't come undone.
"My two lovely Japanese dancers they basically strangled me off the stage. I had two choices, I could either be strangled or fall, and I chose to fall."
Madonna went on to say that the fall wasn’t worse than her anything which had happened to her on her last tour but she did hurt her head and butt. The interview is part of an ITV special on The Jonathan Ross Show, which will air this weekend.
