FFS extend joint Franz Ferdinand and Sparks tour
FFS – the new venture from Franz Ferdinand and Sparks – have extended their tour to include a Manchester concert.

The new group, which comprises members of Franz Ferdinand and Sparks, will perform at Manchester’s Albert Hall on 25 August as part of their first tour as FFS.

The group’s tour will get underway at The Art School in Glasgow during June. The show will be their debut performance as FFS and marks the start of their European tour. FFS’s third UK date will take place at London’s The Troxy on 29 June.

The two bands met over a decade ago and began working together in 2013. Along with announcing their European tour, the group confirmed they would release new material as FFS. The tour will give fans a chance to hear their new tracks live for the first time.

FFS is Alex Kapranos, Nick McCarthy, Bob Hardy, Paul Thomson from Franz Ferdinand and Spark’s Ron and Russell Mael.

Tickets for FFS’s Manchester gig go on general sale on Friday 20 March with FFS tickets for London and Glasgow concerts now on sale here.
