Dave Grohl teases fans with second Foo Fighters documentary
19 Mar 2015
The Foo Fighters frontman has hinted that there could be a follow-up documentary to Sonic Highways in the UK.
In an interview with Billboard Dave Grohl expressed that he was keen on recording a second Foo Fighters documentary. The original followed the band across American where they visited a number of famous recording studios to produce their eighth studio album, Sonic Highways.
He went on to hint that this time the show could be filmed in Europe visiting iconic studios such as the UK’s Abbey Road.
He said to Billboard, "There might be a season two. There are a lot of studios. If we went to somewhere like Abbey Road it'd be fun to interview someone like Paul McCartney or George Martin. That'd be kind of cool or go to say, Berlin, and interview someone like David Bowie or Iggy [Pop]."
The band released their album Sonic Highways during November. It includes the singles Something From Nothing, Congregation and The Feast and the Fame.
In support of Sonic Highways, Foo Fighters will tour the UK during and Ireland during May and June. The tour will visit the UK’s biggest stadiums and Dublin’s Slane Castle.
