U2 confirm sixth and last London show
U2 have confirmed they will play a sixth and final London show on their Innocence and Experience 2015 tour.

The Irish rock band will perform at London’s The O2 on 3 November. The group, who have extended the tour since its original announcement of four London dates, have said it will be their final London show on the 2015 tour.

U2 will also play at the venue on 25, 26, 29 and 30 October and 2 November before heading to Scotland for a two-night residency at The SSE Hydro on 6 and 7 November.

The shows are part of U2’s Innocence and Experience world tour and are in support of their thirteenth album Songs of Innocence. The collection was released in September 2014. U2 surprised fans by giving the album away to all Apple iTunes users. It went on to become a Top 10 hit in the UK.

U2, who are fronted by Bono and formed in 1976, have become one of the world’s biggest-selling bands with sales of over 150 million records worldwide. Some of their accolades include 22 Grammy Awards, 10 UK No.1 albums and 7 UK No.1 singles.
