Ed Sheeran reveals Wembley Stadium support

Ed Sheeran has confirmed that Rudimental, OneRepublic and Passenger are amongst the acts that will support him during his headline Wembley Stadium concerts.
The 24-year-old singer – who will headline three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium this July – revealed that OneRepublic, Rudimental, Example, Passenger and Foy Vance will support him during his headline gigs today (Thursday 9 April).
Ed Sheeran announced the news on his website. He went on to post on Twitter, “Happy to announce my opening acts for UK and Ireland stadiums shows today,” before confirming the acts.
Sheeran will headline Wembley Stadium for three-night in July. The full line-up of support for each day is as follows:
Friday 10 July
Saturday 11 July
Sunday 12 July
The shows are in support of Ed Sheeran’s second studio album, X, which became his first UK No.1. The album includes Thinking Out Loud, Sing and Bloodstream.
Along with his Wembley Stadium gigs, Ed Sheeran will take over Ireland’s Croke Park Stadium in Dublin. He will perform for two nights on 24 and 25 July. Tickets for Ed Sheeran’s July shows can be purchased here
