Brandon Flowers set for second UK No1
Brand Flowers’ second solo album The Desired Effect is on track to become this week’s UK No.1.

The Killers frontman could land a second UK No.1 as solo star following the release of The Desired Effect. The collection is his second solo release and follows 2010’s Flamingos.

In the midweek chart update Brandon Flowers is leading the race. He faces competition from Paul Weller who has released his twelfth album Saturn’s Pattern.

Brandon Flowers has previously enjoyed four No.1 albums with The Killers. Their 2004 release Hot Fuss, 2006’s Sam’s Town, 2008’s Day & Age and 2012’s Battle Born all topped the UK Albums Chart.
Meanwhile, Brandon Flowers is currently on tour around the UK in support of the record. The singer is set to play two shows at London’s O2 Academy Brixton tonight and tomorrow (21 and 22 May) before visiting Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.

Tickets for Brandon Flowers’ tour are now on sale here.
