The 1975 return to social media confirming UK tour

The 1975 have announced a nationwide UK tour for November 2015 after a social media blackout.
The band – fronted by Matt Healy – left fans in speculation if it was the end for The 1975 after the group removed their self from social media on Sunday 31 May.
The blackout proved to a be a way to welcome the new era of The 1975. Their accounts were back after 24 hours along with a new look; the band reversed their first album cover swapping the black and white for light pink.
The image came with a welcome announcement of a huge tour for November. The band will start the tour in Liverpool on 9 November and it will come to a close in their hometown of Manchester on 28 November.
The tour will also include a gig at London’s Evetim Apollo Hammersmith, along with dates in Nottingham, Edinburgh, Plymouth and Brighton, amongst others. Find the full tour details below.
The announcement came with a message from Matt Healy, which revealed details of their second album. He wrote, "Dear friends of The 1975, I/we/The 1975 are currently in production of our second full length record.
“It's creation signifies the end of the most inspiring and challenging time that we've had as friends and artists. We simply couldn't of imagined connecting with as many people as we have since the release of our debut in 2013."
The 1975 tickets will go on sale from Thursday 4 June.
