U2’s Toronto concert reached a new level when Bono was joined on stage by the U2 Canadian tribute act Acrobat.
Bono met Bono on stage in Toronto on Monday 6 July when the U2 tribute group, Acrobat, were invited on stage during U2’s set to perform Desire with the Irish rockers.
U2 – who are touring in support of their album Songs of Innocence – invited the group on stage during their set after performing Elevation.
Gabriel Pate, Acrobat’s frontman, gave Rolling Stone the low down and what happened during the concert. The singer said Bono handed him the mic after pulling him and the rest of the band on stage. After handing over the reins for a while, Bono returned on stage for a harmonica duel.
