Ed Sheeran has been tweeting his excitement about his three-nights at Wembley Stadium, which start tonight.
The 24-year-old singer is about to headline the UK’s most iconic stadium, London’s Wembley Stadium, for three nights starting tonight (Friday 10 July).
He’s already at the venue and seems light-hearted about the evening. He posted a picture of himself in the empty venue with the caption “they told me it was sold out, but no ones turned up yet” on his official Twitter account.
Earlier in the day he excitedly tweeted about his support bands for evening. He wrote, “First Wembley stadium show today, opening acts are @OneRepublic and @foyvance, get down early coz they both will rock your socks off”.
The Thinking Out Loud singer was spotted at the London venue Barfly last night where he was supporting singer Jamie Lawson. The rising-star is signed to Ed Sheeran’s label Gingerbread.
Ed Sheeran will perform at Wembley Stadium on 10, 11 and 12 July. The singer will then head to Dublin for two shows at Croke Park Stadium on 24 and 25 July. Tickets are on sale here for Ed Sheeran’s gigs.
