Still no Manchester gigs for Morrissey
Morrissey has confirmed details of a UK tour for later this year but has skipped over his hometown of Manchester once again.

Fans in Manchester will have to travel to Hull and London to see the former Smiths star on his September UK tour. The star previously toured the UK last spring but left out a date in his hometown of Manchester.
Morrissey revealed plans of a handful of live dates earlier this week. The singer is set to perform for one night at Hull Arena on 18 September and for two nights at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on 20 and 21 September.

The shows are expected to see Morrissey play tracks from his World Peace Is None Of Your Business album that was released last year.

Morrissey first rose to prominence in the ‘80s as the lead singer of The Smiths. The group released a number of successful albums, including 1984’s The Smiths, 1985’s Meat Is Murder and 1986’s The Queen Is dead, before splitting up in 1987.

Morrissey tickets are now on sale here for his UK live dates.
