Fan gets birthday wish by drumming with Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl is once again the nicest guy rock after letting a fan drum with the Foo Fighters to fulfil his birthday wish.

Foo Fighters were performing in Toronto, America, and let a lucky 18-year-old boy on stage to drum during Big Me, according to Rolling Stone.

Dave Grohl – who is currently playing gigs from his throne-chair after breaking his foot – invited Anthony Bifolchi on stage to perform with the Foos when he saw his sign that read, “It’s my birthday, can I play drums?”

The birthday boy was denied his request to play Best of You, which Dave Grohl confessed was going to be their last song of the night, and was instead allowed to perform Big Me from the band’s debut album.

The pressure was on for the 18-year-old with Dave Grohl quipping, “If you suck on the drums, I will personally tar and feather your ass backstage." The fan was reported to hold his own during the performance.

The concert in Toronto formed part of the Foo Fighters Sonic Highways tour. The band were due to play Wembley Stadium and Murrayfield Stadium in the UK during June. However, they had to cancel the gigs due to Dave Grohl’s injury that was picked up in Sweden during the European leg of the tour.

Foo Fighters announced new UK dates earlier this year. They will now play The National Bowl in Milton Keynes and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium in September. Tickets are now on sale here for Foo Fighters UK dates.
