Belle and Sebastian confirm London 20th anniversary shows
22 Jul 2015
London’s Royal Albert Hall will welcome Belle and Sebastian next June to celebrate the group’s 20th anniversary.
Belle and Sebastian are to perform for two nights at the celebrated London venue on 22 and 23 June. The performance will showcase their first and second albums, Tigermilk and If You’re Feeling Sinister.
The first evening will see the band – who formed in 1996 – perform their debut album Tigermilk. Originally, only 1,000 copies were initially released. The album was reissued in 1999 and includes I Don’t Love Anyone, Hard Being Easy and Expectations.
If You’re Feeling Sinister will be performed the following evening on 23 June. The album was released in 1996 and was a critical success. Both shows will include performances of other songs by Belle and Sebastian.
Belle and Sebastian dropped their latest album, Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance, in January. It entered the top 10 on the UK Albums Chart, after its release.
Tickets for Belle and Sebastian’s 2016 dates will go on general sale on Friday 24 July.
