Rudimental to tour UK in autumn
28 Jul 2015
Rudimental have confirmed three live dates for October 2015, including a show in their hometown of London.
The four-piece, who formed in 2010 in Hackney, London, will embark on short tour of the UK in October. Rudimental’s UK dates are 13 October at Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange, 14 October at Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom and 16 October at London’s Alexandra Palace.
The quartet, who have already bagged several Brit Awards and a Mobo Award, are due to release their second album, We The Generation, on 18 September.
We The Generation includes Bloodstream, the collaborative single with Ed Sheeran. The track initially featured on the singer’s album X and has been reworked for Rudimental’s record.
Along with Ed Sheeran, Rudimental worked with Foy Vance, Will Heard, Ella Eyre and Dizzee Rascal. The album follows 2013’s Home, which resulted in a Mercury Prize nomination for the boys.
Ahead of their October dates, the group will perform at a number of festivals in the UK. They are due to appear at Belfast’s Belsonic Festival and Fusion Festival. Tickets for Rudimental’s live dates will be available via presales on Wednesday 29 July. General ticket on sale starts on Friday 31 July.
