Motorhead confirm UK tour for January 2016
29 Jul 2015
Motorhead return to the UK road next year to continue their 40th anniversary celebration tour.
The Brit rockers will perform for five nights around the country during January 2016. They will be joined by Saxon and Girlschool.
Motorhead’s tour will get off to a raucous start in Newcastle on 23 January and will come to a close at London’s Eventim Apollo on 29 January. The group’s tour will venture to Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium, Manchester’s O2 Apollo and Swindon Oasis during the month.
The 2016 dates are part of wider European tour that celebrates the band’s 40th anniversary. The group – whose current line-up is Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee – formed in 1975. They are due to release their new album, Bad Magic, in August.
